Crowdstorm at FOWA 2007

3 commentsWe’ve been eating up the expertise and information on show at FOWA 2007 over the last couple of days…It’s amazing to me that so many people are doing so many things with the Web, and yet all of them think three things are true:
- Utility Computing is a no-brainer win compared to managing your own infrastructure.
- memcached is entirely worth the effort
- Facebook is cool and all that, but man they need to give external 3rd parties access to the Social Graph if they want to keep banging on about how great it is.

But will crowdstorm support OpenID as a login?
In theory - absolutely, but we can do it as a media / pr boost (as other sites who announce it now do) or we can actually decide whether people actually want and use it. Is there any data around it yet?
